Hey guys , i am sick of waiting for my mechanic to do my lifters , so i was wondering how hard is it to do? I need to do the lifters, rocker studs , and lock nuts. While im at it i figured i would replace the pushrods too , because the P/O tightened the rocker studs too much and might have bent them. It is cheap insurance pretty much. So is there anyone out there that could maybe lead me through the process? THanks in advance. BTW i am running a TF h/c/i combo.

By DO, must I assume you mean replace?
To replace your lifters, you will need to remove the upper and lower intake manifold, and the dogbones and retainer that is held to the lifter valley with 2 small bolts. You will also need to loosen your rocker arms enough for you to pull out the pushrods. Once you've done that, you can remove the old lifters and replace them with new lifters.
I don't see how over torque of the rocker studs would bend them. You're tightening the rocker stud at the hex at the base of the rocker stud, so how would that bend the stud itself?
Anyway....
If you are running the Trick Flow top end kit, you have poly locks on the rockers. Loosen and remove the poly locks and the rocker arms. Remove the rocker studs. When installing the new rocker studs, put thread sealer on the bottom threads of the stud (that thread into the head) and torque to spec. Install the rocker arms and adjust the rocker arms one at a time. Make sure you follow the procedure for adjusting rocker arms by achieving zero lash on the base circle of each cam lobe, and then adding 1/2 or 3/4 turn or whatever trick flow recommends to get the proper lifter preload.
