Hard to install Steeda Adjustable Clutch Cable Kit??

I have a '89. My Spec clutch is 8 months old with 2K on it and it got wet when I got stuck driving though a huge puddle in a tropical storm! It seems to have trouble getting into 2,3,4 and when I had the clutch installed I was told to do the adjustable quadrant kit. I am wondering if its part of my issues. So I am wondering how hard it is to install the Steeda Adjustable Clutch Cable Kit? Or if my clutch is fried from getting wet or something,, any ideas?

Where is your point of engagement? If it's near the floor, adjusting your clutch or installing a kit could be helpful.

To install a new quadrant and FWA is not difficult for most folks. It does require some contortion to get under the dash. The hardest part is removing the OEM plastic quadrant and pawl assembly.

It's a piece of cake if you are skinny and flexible. If not, plan on doing some sweating and griping. See Clutch Cable Adjustment -V8Only has a website with a very good tech note for help for cable & quadrant setups.
