I need to get a new set of pushrods for my car, i talked to a mechanic and he said that i need to get harened pushrods. I know what pushrods are but i've never bought a pair, so i dont know the exact specifics for a 302, and where would be a good place to get them. help if u can

I bought a set and using non-hardened pushrods are supposed to be a big no no. Don't remember why but it is on there web site...I have the book in front of me.......
Recommended installation items
1.Roller rockers
2.Head gaskets Fel-pro #9333pt or #1011-2 or equivalent....Caution #1011-1 is not recommended
3.Requires heat treated pushrods
4.Spark plugs accepts 14mm .460 reach tapered seat 5/8" hex (cahmpion #670 or#802 or equivalent)
5.Exhaust gasket Fel-pro #90361 or equivalent
6.intake gasket Fel-pro #1415 or equivalent
I just bought a set myself but have yet to put them on.
