I'm chasing a valvetrain noise, so I'm checking for a loose rocker, or something out of place. I spin the pushrods and find one that will only go about 90* in each direction and stops. WTF? I pull it out and come to the conclusion that the rocker end of one of the pushrods isn't round anymore. It's become egg shaped.
I re-used these RR's from a previous motor and they've have allot of miles on them, but the bearings felt good, so I re-ran them. The cup on this one rocker doesn't look damaged, so I'm kind of scrathing my head over it.
Anyone had this happen to them?
