So I've got an 84 foxbody 5.0, the factory wire harness is for efi, I bought the car with no motor, then found and bought a '68 carburated 302 to give her life, Im a bit old school, so question is, am I needing to buy a completely different wire harness or are there plug in adapters to make it all work ???

You will need most of the harness. The efi portion plugs into the main harness. You can remove that bit. Everything else is grounds or a voltage source you will still need.
