Harwood Hood?

I have a Harwood Cobra RR 4inches hood and it does not prop open all the way up when I want to lift it up. How did you guys manage to keep it up?

2 options, get those hydraulic hood openers like the ones in the trunk , or you can do what the guy who owned the car before me did (he had a harwood 4" cowl hood too) -- he bent the bar all up so he could stick it in the hole where the catch goes.
