I was wondering if anbody has bought this saleen body kit from Mr.Bodykit.com? I was thinking of selling my 88 GT and buying a 94-95 and putting this Body kit on it. Here is the link to the page of the kit its called the "Stalker Style S". I would appreciate anybody's input! Thank you!

I bought the rear bumper and the fiberglass they use is thinner than paper. They didnt prep it very well either and my paint guy had to paint it twice because of bubbles. I havent tried their urethane version, though.

Honestly, the prices dont seem all that good/cheap. I mean saleen has the s281 wing for a bit less than they do, also the hoods seem to be about as much as cervini's. For the same price I would just get the name brand that there is no doubt with the quality.

Cervini's, Age Classic, ABC Exclusive, Design Concepts, stick w/ those guys. More times then not everyone else makes crap. Belive me theres alot of junk body kits/hoods/bumpers out there, you cant skimp out when it comes to this stuff so stick w/ the brand names.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking of buying this in the urathane from mr.bodykit.com. They are having a special till the 31st 1/2 off. All 4 peices (front bumper,rearbumper,2 side skirts, and xenon extension style wing for $900.00. Does that seem like a good price to anybody? Any body buy the urathane kits from them?

If it were my money I would not skimp on purchasing quality body parts! Listen to what the other guys have been telling you. If the parts are substandard you will have to pay an arm and a leg to return them-that's IF they will let you. If the quality is lacking, then you WILL pay your bodyshop extra dough to get them up to par-there goes your savings!

I didnt even see any savings, some things evel looked like they were more money.

FWIW, I have heard that saleen original body parts need a good bit of work anyway.

I purchased a saleen rear bumper from mrbodykit and the shop painting and installing it for me said they had alot of problems sanding/ prep work with it, and they've had to paint it twice now cause of the paint bubbling...the rest of the parts on my car came from ABCexlusive and the shop said the front bumper and hood i got from them were excellent quality and the fitment was almost perfect the first time.

unless there urathane version is any better, your pretty much stuck with crappy qaulity stuff, because Saleen's shi* isnt any better.. For the price you pay for saleen body parts, you would think they would be top notch, but Nope!

I really like the kit this Guy has. It looks like it fits really nice. I need to find out who owns this car and where he got this Saleen 2000 Kit for 94-98 stangs. Does anybody know who owns this 97 GT???

This Kit below on this car looks differnt than the one above. Looks like it sticks out more in the front.
