Has anyone installed the Trick Flow engine kit ?

Has anyone installed the Trick Flow engine kit? You know the one that comes with the upper and lower intake manifold, twist wedge heads, rollers, lifters, and new timing chain and  if you have ?

1. I have only seen it for the 87-93 5.0l will it work on the 94-95 with the elbow they sell?

2. How much HP is it good for?

3. Which one did you use the street or track?

I have the complete Track Heat set up.......when you look in the book it says it is good for 360 or 370 but when I read further that was with a 306...
with that being said look at my sig...you will need supporting mods for this set up...My dyno numbers are from a Mustang specific Dyno which reads lower than a Dyno jet.....I am right at the 370 or so hp at the crank.....there are a few other guys running the track heat and some with the street heat on here.. I will try to help you with any ?'s you have.

I did 304hp/339tq after a cool down, stock eec. That was with the street heat manifold, a small 65mm tb, shorty headers, 373 gears along with the rest of the kit on a stock 92 shortblock. I ran a best of 12.8 @ 107. If I had to run that kit again heres what i'd do different: 4.10 gears, 75mm tb, longtube headers, track heat upper and play with the camshaft ICL as opposed to "dot to dot".

Its a decent kit for the avg enthusiest, but if you mix and match a combo it will run better done right.

How does your TFS heads and intake work with that 347.....I'm thinking 347 down the road and hoping I can use my current upper set up.

Well, I sold my street heat manifold and I sold my old FTI cam from the 302. I now use the trickflow R manifold and a different FTI custom cam. The cam is pretty aggressive. The combo works great, but it wasn't just a bunch of parts throw together, it was all matched for specific goals. Only thing holding me back now is my 2.5" exhaust. I need a 3" mid pipe, which I have here but i'm trying to sell it so I can get a different pipe.

I wouldn't suggest a TFS street heat package on a 347. Get the right parts to support it.

I've got the track heat which is a bigger upper intake and not sure of the cam. I think .499 and 510 nice engine btw

Not the case at all.....you will have to decide where you want your filler neck at and then "you" have to drill the hole and place the grommet in and the the filler neck.....look at my engine above...filler neck is on passenger front......
