Good looking car, I just feel that the rims don't belong. It all comes to personal tastes on a car, and to me it just raises the car up too much and the rims seem just too big and bulky.

It's your car though, so keep doing what you enjoy with it

Do you happen to know the weights of the rims? I imagine it hurt performance quite a bit going with that big of a rim/tire combo.

32 lbs a piece about the height ...of them. .we set these beside the 17inch cobra r wheels that came off my car and they where the same height believe it or not, 17's had alot more sidewall, then these do.

Make sure you get the chrome fender trim to compliment the wheels. Maybe even a $8 chrome fire extinguisher from Autozone? Dont forget the unpainted Kaminari body kit

BurningRubber,

You are def. right about the front bumper. Its like an inch taller or something cant remember exactly.
Extreme Dimensions has universal splitters which I will be putting on the front bumper and replacing the 20's in front with 19's

example of universal splitters in front

Your handling will also suffer from running a 20" rim.

I personally thought 20's were a tad bit too much until I saw the RIGHT ones! IMO, the right kind of rims would look awesome!

I upgraded from my factory 17 to 18. If I could do it again, I would have gone bigger. AMD692's car is the look I was going for.

Like San said...dont expect your track times to improve.
