hey guys- I am about to post 2 pics of 2 similar styled body kits but the front ends are different; this is the "S 2000" style kit that you see on mrbodykit.com.... its the newer 99-04 saleen style

if you look closely, the one on the top has the nose very close to the headlights with a minimal overhang/shelf beneath them. I like this style better than whats on the bottom. the bottom one's nose looks very elongated and extends too far forward from the headlights-

if anyone has seen this kit installed and has seen other pics of them posted, could you send me links or post them on here? I want to get the kit with the more short nosed look rather than the pinnochio nose, but I dont know which vender to get it from. if anyone has seen the car in the first pic or one with the same kit on it, could you point me to the owner so I can ask them where they got it from?

thanks fellas

good, sleek looking nose:

shatty, pinnochio nose:

I might be wrong, but it appears that the second and third pic are of the same car/bumper. It looks good from the front but dang it needs to come much closer to the ground.

there is one huge difference between the actual saleen kit and everyone else which would make me spend the extra $500 for the real one. the saleen kit is made of urethane rather than fiberglass and fits well right out of the box. just my opinion.

the 2 bottom pics are the same car- just from different angles

I am going to get in in urethane and im also planning on spraying foam behind it once its installed to give it a little more rigidity

this is a saleen styled kit and is not available from saleen. someone took the 99-04 saleen kit and designed a new one for the sn95. it has different lines than the OE saleen kit that came out during those years.

its so hard to tell- a lot of companies claim to manufacture this kit yet they all use the same pictures on their websites- some have the nose more flush the way i like it and they actually use the pinnochio looking nose in the bottom 2 pics also, so who the hell do i go with?

abc exclusive has the nicest presentation and they have the closest resemblence (sp?) to the one i like but ive seen those same pics on other sites too- S&h is too high to order and return until I get the nose I want...

ive seen this kit also marketed as the "colt 2" kit- how is the quality of the abc exclusive products?

Get the real deal... about 1100 from downs ford in toms river NJ. here is why. Number one fit and finish is about hundread times better. two they are a six piece kit, most other kits don't come with door filler strips. Three they just look better. My bro had a real kit on his car and a friend had a ABC kit and it was night and day, the saleen was much nicer then the ABC.

i keep scanning through this thread and I keep doing a double take at 69clark's sig- Im diggin the cobra r kit too...... i have a kid around the corner with a blue cobra but i think its an 03 or an 04... stock. it looks really good and I like the front end, but the R is tight too- I like the OE saleen 1'st gen style but i dont know... I like the gen 2 most so far with the cobra r in a very close 2nd... I dont know what to do but I have to do something because today I just passed a maroon-ish toyota celica on the way to work and the front end looked too close to mine for comfort. I know its not close enough in most people's eyes- but its just something that bugged me

They try to rip you off on product, poor customer service, and the quality is complete crap that they sell. I know from personal exp.

Some examples that I have noticed are that they sell a header panel for 125 where you can pick one up new for 50 they sell the ebay lights for 200 where you can get them most for 70 and then from personal exp with a hood, I had it delivered to me and shipped it back..when it came it cracked and chipped very badly and the quality was horrible it had fiberglass coming out of the edges where the mold would be. lets just say it was complete crap.

Well if your wondering about the quality of ABC exclusive, that is the company that made my body kit, if that helps you at all. The hood and wing are Cervinis.

okay i decided (i think)

my car is laser red so that pic is perfect- I think im going to do something with the paint though- I was thinking about a high gloss black for the top of the car right where the curves of the fenders start... like this prowler

being that my decklid, roof, hood might have to be repainted (if the PC 7424 doesn't restore the luster)

That car is Photoshopped. The actual 03 style bumper only seems to look good on a select few cars.

I know someone posted a blue one lately that looked good but all the rest I have seen look like ****. The fitment just isn't right.
