The guys in my club, thinks it's a bad move to remove it. That roof scoop is obviously there to provide you with fresh air. You will need it when the wiring job catches the car on fire.

I saw the link and said "Hey, at least it's a Mustang. How uncool could it be?" Damn! A new level of uncool. I don't even think I would part the car out for the ($2k!!!???) winning bid price. I can't believe how many pictures he took of it. Damn!

Yea...wouldn't want the fire suffocate before it gets the chance to completely destroy that abomination.

I noticed the exact opposite. In his trunk pic you can see he cut out the metal so you can get to the bulbs. But I didn't notice the tails were molded in, so I thought he just didn't know how to take them off and used a sawzall to get to the bulbs...lol. Then I saw your post.

Yay! I've made a thread that's gone to 2 pages. I think that's his negative terminal thingamajigger that's supposed to improve the connection....aobut a 30 FWHP gain IIRC.
