So i figure i'd ask since someone out there has to have experience or dyno with this.
I only care about the HP to the crank..i'm on a quest to run 13.9 on stock tires. S197 make 300 BHPand they run 13.9 and weigh about 150lbs more, so i figure if i can make 300 at the crank, i should be good.

Right now, I have:
Accufab 75mm TB
Accufab plenum
K&N FIPK II intake
O/R H pipe
2.5" Catback
Steeda Pullies

Anyone dyno there cars with similar mods or have an idea of how much HP it makes?

I don't want gears or long tubes, So i don't know what route to go now. I've done everything i can think of as far as bolt ons, except a Tuner.

S197's make 300hp and run closer to 13.5's...not 13.9's

Regardless, with what you've got done, you should be seeing about 280hp or so at the crank. Enough to get you consistenly into the high-13's with good driving, but probably still not enough to guarantee you victory against an S197...that is unless of course you get one with a novice driver behind the wheel.

...and this is so not tech!

Well, i havent gone to the track since i installed the 75mm throttle body, pullies, o/r H and catback. MY best time with the K&N intake and accufab plenum only was 14.4. The problem i have is thatwhen I had my stock springs, i could get weight transfer. These sportlines don't give me ANY transfer at all. Stock really isn't all that bad now that i think about it. I use to get awesome transfer.
Now the tech question: would it help if i ran adjustable shocks and struts with sportlines? I like my stance but i want a little better transfer.
And does unbolting the sway bar make a noticable diffrence?

if you have a 99-04 driving skill and good track conditions will get you 13.9s... i ran a 14.1 totally stock with some of the worst tires ever.....

I agree. I also ran a 14.1 bone stock. It was something like 14.11 too. Gears should be instant 13's with traction if you can drive IMHO

14.4 - is your car an automatic? I agree with the gears - get you some 3.73's if it's your daily driver. That will make the S197 guy go "What just happened?". That is - unless he has gears. Then you'll go "What just happened?".

Well, the track i go to is horrible, lets put it this way, I chirp 4th gear for about a second, and if i put my mind to it i wouldnt be shcocked if i chirp 5th gear on it. The highway parallel to the track has better grip.
The night i ran that 14.4, the track was GREAT. It was my first time out with a RWD, if i could get track conditions like that again, i bet i could run a 14.1. The lowering springs also cost me atleast 1/10 of a second, at minimum. there just isnt any transfer at all, the car just sits there and spins the tires. It's also been about 90-100 degrees, with so much humidity that even breathing is difficult. That was all about a month and a half ago. The weather is getting a little better, tomorrow it will be 85 degrees, and i'm sure a whole lot less humidity than last time.
My tires are also showing metal so i'm sure that doesn't help etiher

What RPM are you 14.1 guys launching at?

If you put some drag radials on it, you should be able to run a 13.9 with the mods you have worry free.

Our cars are a little tricky to launch. If you are running street tires the highest you will want to launch is somewhere around 3k, slipping the clutch quickly. Thats IF you have good tires. Not all cars are the same, so start lower in the RPM range and see what works best for you.

Theres no "magic" combo or HP amount that will get you a 13 second pass. Some of us are running 12.9 with the same mods that others are stuck at a 12.9.

A hard launch and gartuneed traction are a big part of the equation. The other has to do with driving skill and mechanical condition of the vehicle.

I ran a 13.92 with the mods in my signature, but my Diablosport was being a bitch, so I was running fairly crappy on the stock tune.

I was also using 28" tall drag radials launching like a panzy, only mustered a 1.9 60' so there is room for improvment with my ET's.

if i remember correctly it was somewhere around dead idle and 1500... possibly 1250... i dont really remember. It was actually fairly cold too. But i was on nearly bald kumho ecsta's at like 25 psi or a little less... i was spinning those tires at the top of 3rd as well and spinning BAD in 2nd. 2.1~ 60' i believe

Daamn, launching from only 1250?
I usually launch from about 2400-2500. I just wish the track was worth a damn, its unbelievable the wheelspin i get. i launched off of idle and i barley got on the gas, 'Vroo' i let off , then ever so slightly touch the gas 'vroo' i finished the whole damn pass spinning the tires, it was rediculous, it should of been illegal to have a track that wet.
Well, i'm going to go tomorrow, and maybe the track will be better prepped. If not, then No more Atlanta motor dragway on street tires for me.
I'm also going to powershift 3rd, and possibly second if the track isn't so wet it plows me into the wall. I'm also going to shift at 5550 instead of 6000 like i did last time

When you make a statement like this, it makes it hard for us to blame your poor runs on the track.

2500 launch on street tires

Try like 1500 or 1600, somewhere around that general area... if you spin then you know you need to slip the clutch more off the line. As for shifting i believe it's a general rule (someone correct me if im wrong) that 5500 rpm shifts are more for npi and pushing a pi all the way to 5900-6000 is best

When you have multiple 6 liter GTOs running mid 14s, you know the track is at fault

I wouldn't drive on the street with tires like that let alone race. You don't want to kiss the wall at 100mph do you? I'm surprised you can get through tech.
The tires are the most important factor in racing. If you've got no grip, you go nowhere.

Well, its not a lot of wire, just a little bit of it showing in various areas.

OK, i went again yesterday, and again the track was horible.
There was a MACH 1 running 14.1 the whole night
Cobra running 14.0 the whole night
Gtos were running 14s too.
Everyone was complaining about the track, and a few people actually quit racing andstarted spectating.
I got lucky, i beat almost everything i ran. I beat a GTO, a LS2 trailblazer, and about 3 other cars i cant remember off the top of my head. It was a great night i got about 10 runs in. The onlythings i gotbeat by was a STI running 12s, and right after hebeat me, i sawhim in the lot with his car smoking like there was no tomorrow, and a Lightning, which sucked, because i got him off the line, i had like a car length on him allll the way to the very end and next thing i know i here a loud ass "WheeEE!!" and he beats me by a few hundreths of a second.

My best time was 14.5 Which i thought was frikin Awesome. A few runs i took everyones advice and i tried launching from idle then two thousand then three thousand which did a bit better then i launched at thirty five hundred and i was pulling off mid fourteens all night

Sounds consistant, which is good.

Get some tires ASAP and you could probaly drop a 1/10th or two right there.

Too bad track prep sucks, thats a bummer when you pay to race and they don't keep the track in order.
