have a 98gt but drove 2 new gt's now i want one

ok i have a 98gt w/ a good bit of money into it. just not alot of perf. I have ran 9.027@77mph in the 1/8. So yesterday i helped a buddy of mine put on his upr x pipe. so afterwards We went for a test drive it was his 02 gt w/ flow cat-back and upr x pipe,and another guy in his new 04 gt w/a bassani x pipe w/ flows.So anyways they wanted to hear there cars riding buy so i got on both of them several times and now im hooked! I wanna sell mine immediately. It just pulled so much harder than mine does in the upper rpm's where mine dies off at 5k. i chirped 3rd in the 02 gt everytime. I still owe 3 more years on my 98 but i could get payoff for mine and then go get a 99+ and add one or two more years!

Dont let those cars discourage you away from your car. Its as simple as putting some money into performance. If you think about the difference your going to spend between your car and a newer car, that money could go towards mods and neither one of those cars would stand a chance. Ontop of that your car already looks awesome so you'll have a fast and beuatiful car. just mod the thing!

Can't help you with the styling, although I think your car looks great as it is in the photo. To get rid of the 5krpm die off, all you need is some PI cams and Intake.

Not the non pi cars. (96-98) THem cars i dorve just pulled so much harder than mine. Although I could hang w/ one in the 1/4 if not beat a stock one. And That bassani x pipe just sounded beautiful. Checked my payoff i might be able to sell it well see.
