I have basically stopped driving my mustang for the last few weeks because gas is getting too expensive. I have a beater I daily drive so it isnt that I stopped driving all together, I just cant afford to waste gas $ cruising around @ 3.30+ a gallon for premium . I am starting to have withdraws from not driving the mustang. I was going to take it out this evening but its on empty so I just left it sit. I may take it to the track this friday for midnite madness if the weather is decent. I miss driving it to work ocassionally but I guess it keeps miles off the car.....

Stuck in between a rock and... I could save a bit o cash, and buy a beater. But that very same cash could be parts for my LX. Vicious cycle, this car hobby is!

I used to drive about 55 miles each way to work. When diesel hit $3.40 and it was costing me $120 to fill up the stroker every 4 days I started looking for work closer to home and found a buch of custom homes to work on only about 15 miles each way, saved me some serious$$$. But as for the Mustang, i drive that thing whenever I possibly can!!!

I have only driven my Mustang once in 45 days. I've ridden my motorcycle every other day.

I am really considering buying a used motorcycle to ride to work. Its only 7 miles each way but at 40-50 mpg it would save me some gas money.
