my first problem is when i go to turn the car over the car shorts out and no electrical works. But i tryed it today i put the key in and had the door open a little a the buzzer was working until i i put the key all the way foward to try and start the car.Headlights do not work either after trying to turn over motor. I have replaced the starter and start seniod.

Second problem is my back drum brakes are stuck. They are slowing me down alot i took off the one side drum and shoes and that freed it up alot. the other side is the same way. I was wondering could it be the parking brake or could it be something else?

Thanks for reading this i know you guys give alot of info that is very help to me.

Sounds like you need a new starter and brake pads and a new car.

There is a good possibitly that your brake problem is your e-brake stuck on. Has you car been sitting for a long time. I never use my e-brake because it gets stuck and I have to rev it up and pop the clutch to get it to break loose. Your first problem must be some kind of circuit which is not wired properly and you are shorting your electrical system out.

I would agree with the starter my self. I know its a pain but I would yank it off and have it tested. Now once you get that fixed ( perviding thats whats wrong) I would get a volt meter and double check the alternator / battery when the car is back running for ya. I say this because when one of those three goes bad it tends to weaken the other.

As for the brakes I would take the drums off and buy those new spring kits for it and do some cleaning of the rest.

I have that issue with electrical myself. Quick fix on mine was a rubberband around the black connector for the starter. It seems that my connector for the wire harness is too loose and comes free enough to lose connection.
