im looking into gforce transmissions, how are they? is it worth it, or should i just upgrade possibly to a tko? i see they have those dog rings transmissions, which is like a motorcycle transmission, which uses dogs to transfer power, this is very good for powershifting, cause the gears dont actually haev to "mesh" they use the dogs. Anyhow, anyone use these trannys?

If your looking for the dog-ring straight cut version, look to spend around $2K for the trans... Plus its litterally what they consider a crash box... Its bitchen for powershifting, and can take some serious abuse... but its really noisy, and will be super bltch to downshift.. hense the name crashbox... the sound you hear when you downshift...

The sycronized version is around $1600, or $950 just for just the gear set. These use the stock type syncronizers, and shift like a stocker.. they are slight bit noisier, but not really noticeable.. especially with loud exhaust.. This is what I plan on upgrading with...
