Having a hard time finding air Dam.

A while back I was having a problem with my cooling system, I had checked everything, and all was working properly. I however did not have the air dam under the car, I am trying to locate one to buy, but every search I do comes up with a splitter, the air dam I need goes under the car, the splitters are on the front of the bumper??? What is this piece called? I need to get one this week, I'm going to arizona this weekend, and would like the extra cooling.

I wasnt sure if I should put this in talk, but since it's kind of a tech question I put it here, Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

Thanks guy's.

Chris has the right part if it's the same for Cobras

And the dealership should be able to get you one. I paid $15 there (saved shipping).

EDIT: I shouldn't have waited 10 mins to post from when I loaded the page. NM :)

I took them off of both cars years ago and haven't noticed any increase in temperature on either of them. I got tired to scraping them on parking curbs.

In climates where triple digits occur frequently, the air dam is important IMHO. Below about 95*, it isn't super crucial.

IIRC, Tony is moving to Scottsdale, which gets hotter than frying piss.

Good Info :hail2:

What works for one doesn't necessarily A L W A Y S work for all ;)

I lost mine and noticed a difference in hot Texas summers :Word:

Yes ... they are very prone to scraping on curbs and the like :(

When I finally get into AZ. I dont want any hassles, but i'll be in parker Az. Pretty good memory hiss. It will not be my daily driver, however when I do drive it I do not want to worry about the temp.
Also another FYI, I removed my radiator cover, and never got around to putting it back on since I was still doing work in that general area, I put it back on recently and my car runs much cooler with just that piece back in place.

Good info. I ran mine without one for a little while, but didn't really notice any difference in engine temps. I was thrilled the 331 made it in the 100+ temps the past couple of weeks. I even ran the A/C on the highway. It would finally start creeping up in temps with the A/C on and sitting in traffic. I have a new stock replacement radiator too.
