I recently started converting the brakes on my 87 gt to the Cobra R system. I purchased the Ford Racing rear conversion kit and bought some junkyard axles and drilled/slotted rotors for the kit. The front went together just fine and when i go the rear, I could not get enough clearance between the rear rotor and the caliper bracket to mount the caliper. I need help here. I received a set of rotors with the kit that are identical to the rotors I purchased and I'm stumped. I need some suggestions and fast i have been out of a car for almost a week and I'm going nuts. Thanks.
