Ok, first off, Id like to say thanks to those of you who have helped me through my 4:10 install. I got the crush bearing crushed. There was allot of slack, and the gears whined when I let off the gas... after a car lift and a big ass impact there is not much play and there is no more whine. So thinking I was off the hook, I ran into a new problem.
I decided to go out and ''get er done'' and see what she had in her.. I rip through the gears and im pumped. I hit 4th and Im doing probbly (no speedo gear) 70 mph, I go and hit 5th and I was shocked to feel a violent vibration. I was like ''holy hell!!''. I brought it down and easly went through the gears till about 55 60 mph and hit 5th and there it was again. Seems to be only in 5th and kinda goes to 4th if I down shift. At one speed in 5th I thought my hand was gonna come off the shifter. Is this the drive shaft?? Do I need to buy a new one that is balenced? Can someone explain what makes this happen? I heard a few complaints about vibration but this sucks.
