Yesterday when I went to get in my car, it wouldn't start and I noticed the "theft" light was flashing and the door chime was really low and slow like the battery was dying. I let the car sit for a few minutes and the car started just fine.
Well today, I went to start my car and it started fine. I went to the gas station to buy a drink and when I tried to start the car the door chime was low and slow like last night. No flashing "theft" light this time though and there was no clicking or anything so I figured the battery was dead. I called my roomies to come jump me and still got nothing. So I removed the battery, went to autozone and had them test it, and it tested 100%. Frustrated at this point, I went back to my car, put the battery back in, and the car started just fine. Woohooo! No, not really because when I got down the street and was waiting at a light, it started to idle rough and the alternator gauge started going back and forth from normal to low. It was about to die right there until I gave it some gas. So when the light turned green I busted a u-turn and headed back home. When I pulled up to my apartment, the car nearly died before I could park. Once I did park, I let it run so I could hear what was going on and I noticed a gurgling sound coming from the exhaust. The car started to go below 1 rpm and nearly died so I gave it some gas and it ran really rough and felt like it was gonna die. The gurgling sound concerns me but there can be a number of things causing my issue. So here are a few things you should know that'll help you help me figure this out:

1. The alternator and serpentine belt are brand new.
2. The battery, alt, and starter were all tested and came out good.
3. When my car was broken into last year, the shop that fixed it had issues with the theft light flashing.
4. There is not an alarm on my car. However, there is an aftermarket alarm horn under the hood but isn't connected. (from previous owner)
5. It rained all day yesterday so maybe something got wet?
6. The car has a major fuel leak whenever I fill up which is why I don't "fill" up.

Any help at all would be great! Thanks in advance for the advice!

Did you splash through any deep puddles? Mabey the rain will be gone soon
and it will dry out. But you really need to get that gas leak fixed anyway.

No puddles that i can think of. I think i may have swallowed some water somehow though. If I did, will it just dry out?

check the battery terminals and the cables. if they are even slightly loose it can cause problems. check the connections on the starter also
