I'd personally go with the SLP loudmouth..i got mine on ebay for 300+shipping..$340 total from tntmotorsports or something...The sound is amazing, and the best looking tips for our cars HANDS DOWN..all stainless steel and the tips are nice and thick with slp'd logo on the end of em..

Here's a vote for Bassani. Mine sounds great! Everyone who hears my car loves it.

Another vote for Bassani.

I had the luxuary of having several friends who all have mustangs (same generation) with differant set ups. I listened to them all from the rear of the car and inside the car at idle (Bassani great drone) and WOT (Bassani HOT DAMN). I did like the Magnaflow, but went with Bassani after a 1 minute decision.

I don't know what year your stang is so use the application guide. You can also contact the folks at Houston Performance, they have great prices too.

I had an 02 GT with o/r magnaflow x-pipe and borla cat-back and it sounded sick. I would definitely go with the magnaflow x-pipe, but borla is the best exhaust system. In fact, I have my kit from my 02 GT for sale. It is the more expensive series, but it's awesome. Look for my thread under exhaust if interested.

it will sound awsome. the only reason I did not get bassani was the price. I love the sound. IF you are going to get headers you may want to look at longtubes and a different midpipe. about the only headers wortha damn for a normal midpipe are jba. they are about $500 and give you 8-10hp. I am at this point right now. trying to decide what to do with headers. I want stainless so that leaves me a jba or slp. slp are $750 jab are $500. I may go jba just because I am lazy and the install will be easier.
