having valve lash caps is the same as a longer pushrod right?

sorry, this is the last thread about lash caps, i just cant seem to dial in these heads right

but as the title states, is equipping your heads with valve lash caps the same as adding a tiny bit of legnth to your pushrods?

i could be wrong here, thats why i'm asking... thanks guys

no, it will make your valve stem longer therefore needing a longer pushrod.
Unless your pushrod is too long to begin with.

actually it depends on how the rocker geometry is now? it adds more surface area for the roller to set on and you could get away with a slightly shorter pushrod or longer depending on the geometry looks. plus they save wear and tear on the valve tips when using high pressure springs
