I recently put in these pads. I would say yes, they do slow down the car harder then what i had in there, especially full brake stops. The pedal feels more responsive, and it seems that the abs kicks on only on the hardest of stops.
BUT right now there is a very loud brake squeal in the rear pads. I bed them in right and seems like its getting worse with time. Thinking of going on a back country auto-cross to really wear them in to see if it will go away.
