I have my idle tuned pretty good just working with the timing and idle set screw. But I get problems once I turn on the AC. It does the classic HCI surge and stall.

Anyone had any luck tuning around this without a dyno/chip/computer tune? Any suggestions if you have?

Thanks. I'm gonna run through that procedure this weekend. It looks pretty good.

But I still am wondering about my issue. I have the idle working fine without AC but not with it on.

I would appear the IAC is not sensing the load once the AC is on....Thats what it does...helps the idle when a load is applied...such as the AC...It could be junk or dirty???
A good douching with WD40 to clean the inside of the IAC might be in order...They get all gummed up and sticky from the carbon...I use it on mine to clean and they work fine...you be amazed at the crud that comes out...Use some Q-tips to really clean things up inside it....The Fox ones have a plunger inside...thats what sticks...not allowing the extra air it needs when the AC is on..

Fox IAC's are tit to remove....SN95s are a tab more of a pain to access...

ditto that.....they aren't fun at all.

I used carb cleaner and that broke mine. Hope you have better luck.
