Just did an HCI on my 1995 GT with 4 speed auto
78,000 miles on the Car, tranny & stock bottom end
Ford Motorsport GT40X X303 alum heads
Crane Cobra 1.7 RR
Crane 2031 Cam
Mac Shorties
Cobra blue top 24lb injectors
70mm TB
Crane HI 6 ignition
I don;t know what the HP is, I talked to the Crane and Ford Motorsport people they estimated 310-330HP. Seems to go like a scalded dog even with the stock 2.73 gears (upgrading shortly to 3.53 or 3.73s)
The transmission will not upshift to 3rd or 4th gear?
I have tried to clear the codes with my scaner, and also unplug the battery. It gets code 632 which I understand is common with a 94-95 scan. None of the other codes in the 600 range for slipping TC clutch or malfunctioning gear failure.
I have tried to cycle the O/D on-off switch as well. My TPS voltage is set @ .98 so I should be in the good range there as well. Tranny oil does not smell burnt.
Would appreciate some feed back?
I am having a chip burnt to calibrate the MAF to the injectors, as well as increase transmission line PSI and shift points. Maby I am to eager to drive before the chip arrives?
