Finally got my ARPS's today
Final Q's:

ARP included their own Moly lube for use on the threads and recommends thread sealer on the short bolts. Now, I have Teflon tape. Will the tape affect/throw off the torque readings?

How many times around should I wrap the tape?

Do I need to wrap just the threads or the whole bolt?

Do I need to use the washers supplied w/ the bolts?

I think that's all for now....

Thanks!

Dont use the tape that wont last long in the water jacket and may come unwrapped and clog the somewhere in the block. Use Permatex gasket maker on the short bolts. It comes in a small can usually and is a black sticky liquid.
As far as the washers I would use them if they came with your application. The would keep the bolt from digging into the head. Torque the heads to the specs and call it done.

Use arp or permatex thread sealent on the lower bolts and arp moly lube on the uppers. Don't be afraid to use a lot on the lowers. Everytime i've bought arp head bolts it never came with arp lube.

Wow, that sucks. I actually got them through Autozone, and they were listed as an Edelbrock part, but they came today and they're ARP's, w/ the ARP sticker, ARP instructions, ARP moly lube, the whole 9.
Weird.
So that's an ix-nay on the Eflon Tape-Tay?

All the bolts get antiseize under the bolt heads, and everything but the short head bolts get it on the threads. You need Teflon pipe dope or ARP sealant to coat the threads of the short head bolts. The short bolts go into the water jacket and will seep coolant if you don't use the sealant.

Yep, put antiseize on the washers (use them) so it doesn't hurt the torquing against the head or bottom of the bolt that mates against the washer.

Use thread sealer (not the tape) and cover the threads with it. I used ARP...very nice

Use some oil or moly lube on the top bolts.
