I have a 357 windsor with a pretty strong short block. lightened forged crank, forged rods, venolia 10.5:1 pistons. Right now it has some pretty old heads, (gt40s that have been hogged out for 2.02/160 valves. A vintage ford motorsport gt40 upper and lower intake w/ a 70 mm throttle body (non ported) and a ford B-303. Don't get me wrong, it makes a nice 350+ hp to the rear wheels, it's a great street motor that makes good lowend, nice midrange, and decent topend power. Its done making power @ 5500 but will rev cleanly to 6200+ rpms. The motor was built way back in 1995 and I think its time for a new set of heads, cam and intake. This will always be a street car, but I would like to eventually bring some boost into the equation and beat the s**t out of all those vettes and vipers! would Dart Pro 1's wake the motor up? Tried and true twisted wedge? I want DECENT street manners. Some say keep the cam and buy new heads and intake. Realistically this motor will be naturally aspirated for a few years. Would high port heads, a R-series intake, and a semi agressive cam be too much for the street? I know its a little long winded, but any advice would help alot. Besides...all i want is to go fast and beat all them chevys and dodges!
