Will the speed density on my 86gt handle the twisted wedge heads? and would the stock cam be good enough for TW,s? I,m looking at some thumper heads also, I,ve heard some good stuff on them. Has anyone out there tried either combo? Or will a good port&polish on the stock e6,s get 30hp more, not including better headers and ported lower.

The 86 heads are junk. I wouldnt bother working them personally. I think you will be fine with just about any head and the stock cam but if you go with a high lift cam, be sure to check the piston to valve clearance. The 86 has a different piston than the later cars and you can run into issues with big cams.

Can't say for sure, but my assumption is that those heads would SERIOUSLY clash with the speed density. If you're serious about modifying this car, I'd check into a mass air conversion. p/v clearance could still be an issue too.
