Head Unit Selection Help --- Im stereo dumb

Whats up guys (girls), I havent posted here in ages...but I come back cause I need help picking out a head unit for 2001 Mach 460 replacement. I have the Metra harness, and scosche sound kase on hand.

I want a unit with built in hass-pass / low-pass crossovers, single CD, and would like to be able to plug in my MP3 player to it...but, being audio stupid, Im having trouble figuring this out, if I get the right parts I can build anything, but I dont know what a decent head unit is to satisfy this need.

The Pioneer DEH-4800MP is a VERY good head unit, and im pretty sure it has everything you want plus more

Crutchfield is a VERY good website to go to because they have some of the best audio stuff for sale and give good descriptions of everything and you can ask them for help, if you tell them what you want they will actully help you pick out a head unit

what kind of mp3 player? If an ipod then look into the newer Apline units, they are full speed. If you want more EQ, Time alignment and better crossover points then look into the pioneer 880.
