I gotta 2000 gt, and I was wondering what is the best choice in headers. Long Tubes i heard are best for hp but are hard to install. So is a equal length short header a good choice? Are unequal headers worth it? Can i keep my stock H pipe for now?

I'm waiting for the BBK shorties if they ever come out.

Here is current selection of shorty headers for 99+

1. FRPP - not so impressive looking, not 50 state legal, no real decent gains reported, reasonably priced.

2. JBA - nicer looking than FRPP, 50 state legal, better gains than FRPP, huge price tag.

3. BBKs - priced reasonably, 50 state legal according to Summit, gains unknown, not actually being sold yet, AFAIK.

:nice:

Just in my opinion, the shorties are only going to give you minimal gains and are still a huge PITA to put in, there is just not much room there. If you are going to do it, go all the way and do longtubes. If you don't want to put em in yourself, pay someone you trust at a garage. The LT's and lowering my car were about the only thing I will not touch. It was worth the money to me to pay for it.
