does anybody else have problems with your headers rubbing the ground on bumps and stuff. im running headman. just wondering? i think i may weld a skid plate on them so they dont get a whole in them after a while. who knows. any insite?
if the car is lowered, anything other then Try-Y's might rub due to a 3" collector and the way they sit below the frame rail, mine RARELY hit and its pretty low,my buddy has Hookers and not as low and went though 2 sets already
Yea I had the same problem with my Headman headers on a lowered '67 (I also hit the ps drop ram bracket). I switch to tri-y's on my lowered '66 with no problems on speed bumps. I believe Doug Thorley made a full length header for a SBF with 2.5" collectors. Should also tuck fairly well. Both cars were lowered about 3 inches in front.
hmm. yeah i would like the full legnth. they only hit on like speed bumps if i dont go over them at -45mph ill have to look into replacing them it its to big of a problem.
