headers and t5 clutch cable???

OK those of you that are running a T5 with a clutch cable and headers, what header are you using? I installed the cable setup and my Flowtech headers are in the way. I have aset of tri-y's hanginf up in the garage just don't want to go through the hassle of installing them and not working. Any info would be great!!

I have headers from ford power train...i believe www.fordpowertrain.com is their site. They are the ONLY headers I found to work with my t-5 clutch linkage and 351w. Hope this helps.

Thanks MrFoMoCo!! Thay are a sweet set of headers but I thik they may be a little out of my price range. They say that is the header what will work with the clutch cable setup. I heard the hedman headers may work but not sure. Anyone using this setup in a 65-66 with headman or tri-y's???

Me and my buddy both have the Hooker Comps with cable clutches. You just have to make something to hold the cable out of the way but it is pretty simple and the routing is fine.

Hedman Elite and T5 cable

On my 66 the Hedman Elite and the T5 cable is very tight next to the shock tower and where the cable attaches to the bell housing.

Looks like to me if the cable was 6" to 10" longer the routing would be better.

Just my .02 worth.

Thanks for all the replies! I was working on it last night and I found a way to make it work. I agree that if the cable was a little longer it would wor a little better. The way I routed now the cable could be a little shorter!! Once I get the bracket made to hold the cable I'll try and get some pics. Once again thanks!!!!
