I had inquired on a set of headers to Pypes performance for my 95' mustang GT. I explained to them that I would be acquiring a set of GT 40 heads and they told me that their headers would not fit them??

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but there are GT 40 heads and GT40p heads. The GT 40p heads are the angle plug heads that require different headers as opposed to regular GT40 heads......

Regular GT 40 heads should fit ANY manufacturers shorty headers, not?

I don't think regular GT40 heads need special headers. I have some regular longtubes for a fox body on my '93 Cobra, which has the iron GT40 heads.

Looks like they just lost a sale. Any company that doesn't know the difference is not going to get my business. Yet they offered no alternative or explanation. They just wrote, .".....Unfortunatlly our headers will not match up to the GT40 heads...."

Not even a thank you for the inquiry.....almost like they didnt' even give a crap?

BBK long tubes work with both, i have gt40p's and they fit great, just use 90 deg boots for safety
