headers loose alot of torque?

I wasn't doubting you. What happened to torque?

Same as power - down a couple of ft-lbs. at peak; minus one or two throughout the curve. Putting the shorties on didn't help it anywhere. Moral of the story = at those power levels, the stock shorties aren't hurting the motor at peak. Long tubes will, however, show a significant low end and midrange gain over shorties.
