does #7 and #30 help at the track.
Anyways. I see 12's happening. Maybe if everything goes right a 12.8's-12.7's. You've taken off a good deal of weight and added power and traction. Let us know.

well you bitched out on the gears, but drop the nittos to 16psi to start and heat them up all purdy. then roll out of the tthrottle from 4-4.5k easy 1.7s. that should put that highly modded 2v turd in the 12's

im guessing 12.97

really i think if the weather is good and your tune is good(which it should be if Tim did it) you will run 107mph and depending on your 60' 12.7 or so maybe even quicker if you drive the **** out of it JC style

edit, did you get your tune fixed for the longtubes? i know my friend matt's car ran ****ty after he installed his.

^ lol. 12.97 huh? I hope i hit 12.965 .
THANKS GUYS, keep them coming!

And ofcourse mods 7 and 30 helps!...we all know that the cooler you look the faster you go...sheese *rolls eyes* Why do you think all the ricers always claim to beat vipers and stuff? Cuz their cars look mad tyte. LOL

I just got a brain storm...im going to pull off my stock front GT tires and put on my dads 00 V6 rims/tires . They weigh like 35#s....every 20#s help .

dont worry about that ****. just get the launch down on the nittos and power shift the piss out of it. if the car is tuned right i could see 12.5's out of it with good weather(and me driving it)

I bet you could be in 12's pretty easy! You have saved a bunch of weight with the tubular A-arms and K-member, not to mention the much impoved exhaust flow. I think you got it in the bag buddy!

I wish the track here was open in the winter

I also wish I could get me some VT stage 1's!!! - by the way did you change your springs as well? I know its not required, but some people do it anyways...

*crying* (not) they canceled it! Due to rain and "chilly" weather . And the rain is going away too...its like over with up there. Anyways, I guess ill have to go friday (rain) or next WED. Crap...well I guess I can bring this thread back from the grave then LOL.

^And no I left the stock springs . But since you have an 00, you will need to buy new cam gears (stock are pressed on). This means you will have to tear down the front of the engine...might as well replace them. Heck stg2s may be the better choice, unless you like the stg1 s and like your lowend torque (like me). And the kinda sleeperishness (is that a word?) of them.

Jacky, the car was tuned BEFORE mods 21+ and before the electric WP. I need a dyno to make sure eveything is still right on.

You should be in the 12s, specially with mods 30 to 33.

If you can drive and your car hooks 12's should be easy. Its funny how much the fox cars are from our newer body styles. In my 91Gt I had 289 at the wheels (full weight GT, No weight reduction) and ran mid 12's on a regular basis 12.30's to 12.50's on BFG drag radials. How many N/A modular cars have you seen running low to mid 12's with full factory weight on drag radials? I guess the added weight of the newer cars and the loss of low end torque form the lack of cubic inches is what makes the difference.

My best pass was a 12.32 at 114 with a 1.69 60ft. I sold it summer of 04 to buy my current project 98GT. When I finally get it done (new motor and blower) I am going to be sure to hunt down the friend of mine that bought my 91, to uh........show him my finished product. ( I took a lot of crap from everybody for getting a modular stang )

WOW, thats insane! 114, man mine will be lucky to do 108. Sure you didnt have more than 289? lol. You would rape an 03-04 cobra for cying out loud. AWSOME.

But I bet you did take alot...especially when you got a 98 NPI lol. But thats ok, your mainking it fast. However I doubt you will see 114 again, W/O ALOT of weaght reduction.
