I bought brand new 6pc clear corner headlights about a year ago, and the driving side headlight housing is already turning yellowish. What causes this? Also, is there a way to make it look new again, or atleast stop it from getting worse? I'm curious to why it is only on the driver side. Thanks!

The housing or lens??? If its the lens, you can wet sand it with a fine grit sand paper (like around 1500 or more) and then buff it out. I have heard lots of theories about why they turn yellow but I will have to go with my buddy who is a quality engineer at the Sylvania Plant that makes the OEM housings. He says it is due to the old process of making them for the older model cars and sadly the repro's are made the same way. He could go into depth on it about the whole process but I can't. That is why you only get a year warranty.

I guess it's the lens, but it seems to be on the inside. They use to match, but now I can tell there's a difference in color between them. How would you go about seperating the housing from the lens without it leaking when you put it back together?

Try wetsanding them. I thought that my headlights were turning yellow from the inside too, so I bought a set of ultra clears. But once I wetsanded the stockers they turned out looking brand new.

I've read on another forum to try Mother's plastic polish. If that doesn't cut it, I'm not going to fool with it. But there's really no excuse for a $150 set of lights to already be turning color.
