any suggestions? thanks a lot.

There is a small clip that the headrest shaft snaps into. there is a groove in the shaft that you have to feed something down and pry the clip out and pull on the headrest.... not easy to do

It's easy to do with 2 people. 1.)Have a friend grab thew head rest. 2.) with a short flathead screw driver reach up the back of the seat from the bottom. you will feel a metal tab/clip the clips the head rest post into the seat. insert the screwdriver between the post & the tab & pry up. 3.) have said friend in step 1 yank the head rest out as you pry up & it's free. Takes about 30 seconds with a friend & is damn near impossible with out.

head rest removal is fairly easy. get a flat piece of metal like 1 inch shipping banding , about 8 inches long. pull up head rest then pull up the plastic ring around post. then on front side of seat. slide your metal piece down the center of the post till it bottoms out, now push down on the headrest until it bottoms out then pull the rest up and out, it took me 3 tries the 1st time i took mine out,

I unziped the seat cover on the back of the seat. reached way up and on the front side (around where you shoulder blades would be) pulled the mettal tab with a small screwdriver and pulled the headrests up....I'll look for a pic to help you see the inside of the seat.
