Heads and cam
just wondering what I could expect horsepower wise with AFR 185cc heads and ford racing E303 cam on my 95 cobra with the mods below??? I put 248hp and 300tq to the wheels as she sits. thanks!! :D
Save your money against the heads and go for a supercharger since you "technically" have heads on there anyways...

Bigger is not always better (AFR 185's)...

Custom cam all the way...either by Buddy Rawls or Ed @ FTI

Hey guys,

Well to be honest the 165's are ideal for the person that is going to stay N/A with a 331 or smaller and not very rev-happy. While the 185cc's will work better on a larger motor or with a power adder and some RPM.

It comes down to the fact of, after h/c/I, are you going to leave it alone, if not, then go 185, if so, go 165.

There are alot of great cams out there, off the shelf being the less expensive, I would typically recommend a Comp Cam XE cam for most street oriented guys, depending on application and desires....but a custom grind has the potential to make more power since it can be custom tailored to your application.

When it comes to the intake, I would put the RPM and RPM II at the top of my street/strip list and I would place the TFS Track Heat in between the two of them.
