First this is a budget build.
Now would i be better off with a promaxx series one 175, a proheader from eric weingartner or a team visionz racing head? I also considerd brodix st 5.0 buts already kinda expensive and the nkv heads from skip white which seems to be hit or miss.
Also the promaxx heads seem to have the best flow rate of these all.
Its for a 306 stock blok with a Explorer intake and tfs stage 1 cam

Thnx!

Not sure what kind of money your looking to spend but I would suggest looking on some Mustang
forum classifieds, Corral has a pretty extensive one.
I personally have bought more sets of heads this way than I care to remember but have always
gotten a good deal on a high quality, big brand set of heads.
Out of the ones you mentioned I'd go with Brodix.

Well i have a budget off about 1000-1500 BUT that should include the heads, roller rockers and shipping because i have a wife....
Thats one, second is i live overseas in Belgium so im verry sceptical about used heads since i have no way of checking them and if something is wrong i cant return them so i would be buying "in good faith" last couple times that went verry wrong so i dont want to waist my money but thhnx for the input

Well you can get some pretty good deals on used roller rockers. You should be able to score a good set of comps or tfs for the $150 range used.

The heads I really wouldn’t cheap out on though. Brodix, afr, trickflow are all great brands to buy and you’ll be happy with any of the 3. If it’s my money, I would look for someone selling a used pair in good shape or just save a little more and buy them new. A new complete set of 190 11r trickflows from fordstrokers comes complete for $1630 shipped, and it included upgraded springs which can handle .650 of lift with a hydraulic roller.

If you can spend $1500 you should be in good shape. Probably the TFS 170 or AFR 165 will be your best bet. Yes, you may not be able to get rocker arms in your budget, but quality arms can be had for a few hundred bucks and you will be way ahead with the heads.

Well i hear what you guys are saying but you have to see it my way with the added shipping + taxes an afr head of around 1500 dollars costs me 2100 dollars ((price of the heads + shipping) x 4,5% import tax) x 21% sales tax) so i need to go with a cheaper head im not looking for top hp gain just something to spice her up
