My wife has a 95 yellow GT 5 speed and I was looking for suggestions heads here is the list of mods

Air intake
Mass air
65mm TB,
equal length shorties
O/R h-pipe
Bassani Catback
Shorty shifter
NOS dry shot

The runs high high 14s (na) with radial tires, she wants it into the 13s on motor. So I plan on getting 3.73s this summer, but I was looking for advice on heads, once I decide on heads I will get an intake and put both on at the same time. Also I plan on sticking with the stock cam just since all I am really looking for is a mid 13 sec street car.

Another question do you think the stock injectors will hold up to the heads, intake and the occasionally shot of nitrous (75)

Thanks in Advance
Pete

AFR 165's, trick flow, edelbrock are all good heads. You might want bigger injectors and bigger fuel pump but I can't say for sure if that will be neccessary.

I think you'll definately need to step up to a bigger fuel pump and injectors.

This is a quick and dirty way to calculate injector sizing courtesy of www.precisionturbo.net

((fwhp / cylinders) * bsfc) / .80

fwhp = fly wheel horse power
cylinders = # of cylinders (8)
bsfc = break specific fuel consumption
.8 = injector duty cycle

Assuming a standard engine, they recommend a BSFC of .5. Also assuming a duty cycle of .8. Hey, I said cheap and dirty!

So say right now you have with current mods 240 fwhp. Add the 75 shot, now you're at 315 ish.

315 / 8 = 39.375, *.5 = 19.6875 / .8 = 24.609375

So I'd say you're a shoe in for 24 pound injectors! Remember this is cheating but thats the best you're getting out of me!

Yea, def. you will need a fuel upgrade (24's and 255 pump). Like mentioned AFR 165's, Eddy's and TFS seem to be the tried and true performers. With 240HP back in the day I could run 13.7's all day on street tires.

Thanks for everybodies input, yeah I thought I would be pushing the injectors a little too much.
