i am at the point that i need aluminum cylinder heads. I will be using a steeda #18 cam, and a holley systemax 2 upper intake, i know stud mount are better but i will be using 1.6 pedestal mount rockers. i also have new FRPP stock length .272" pushrods. I am looking for a set of heads to bolt on and go. I used this setup on a previous car w/ the edelbrock #60379 heads. Everything was installed at Steeda and I had 0 problems and put 325hp to the wheels running a rich tune. I am looking for a head comaprable to the edelbrock but alittle better, TFS and AFR are out. any help greatly appreciated.

Check out Canfield then, but out of curiosity, why not AFR?

they are carb legal, and I feel the 165 head would work better on a 306 combo like he has. The AFR heads simply put make power and I am a TFS nut. Check out the site!

Why?

Saying you want good aluminum heads but ruling out TFS and AFR is like saying you want to have fun with a girl but ruling out any kissing or touching.

I don't get it.
