Headswap Questions

I am getting ready to do an FR500 Headswap on my 96 Cobra. Has anyone done this swap? I know that I will need a 99 or 01 intake, but is there any other hang ups I should know about? Also, is there any difference between 96 GT header location and 96 Cobra header location? they are the same block other than cast iron and aluminum arent they? Someone in here said that Flowtech makes longtubes for me, and are on summitracings website, but I cant find them. I do not want to get the BBK's, because I have heard that on GT's you have to remove them to change your clutch. I am not sure if this is the same on a cobra or not?

You guys have got to be kidding me! Nobody has any insight? I thought this was the tech forum, not the "How do my new rims look?" forum. I thought for sure that someone would know or want to say something. I guess I came to the wrong forum.

Try thr SVT Forum. Cool guys over there and they know quite a bit about the DOHC heads/headswaps. Good luck. Let me know how it goes....I'm thinking about getting a DOHC soon.
