I hate the medal location on my '03 GT and I am sure most you also do. If you don't under stand what I mean, I'll try to explain.

The clutch, brake and gas medal all sit at different heights to each other. It sorta resembles steps on a staircase. The clutch pedal is the highest, followed by the brake the gas pedal.

I've tried adding a spacer behind the gas pedal to help raise the gas pedal closer to the level of the brake pedal, which helps out with Heal and Toe down shifts but the pedal response of the gas pedal is too touchy in a way that my up shifts aren't as crisp as I would like compared to when the gas pedal was in its original location (closer to the floor).

Has anyone come up with a better idea to help with this?

Steeda pedals might help. I know they don't make a set specifically designed to help heel-toe for this gen car but I bet their curved pedals help some. They do make heel-toe pedals for the 15+ (put some on my '17) and they make a world of difference in reaching the gas. Maybe use those and play around with your spacer idea to get them roughly where you want?
