I have an Edelbrock Performer RPM head, gonna use an autolite plug. I think the heat ranges are 24, 25 and 26, does that sound right? The parts guy gave me the medium heat one I think. Its Autolite part# AP3923 Platinum.

Anybody know if this is the right plug? I`m a little worried about letting some dude working behind a parts counter select my heat range, expecially when I know NOTHING about it.

I agree - the 23s are a tad on the cold side if you are N/A.
