I have a 2000 mustang v6 and I just finished dropping in a motor from a 2001. Problem is I didn't realize that the heater core hoses were different. I'm pretty sure the heater core I have is bad as the previous owner had it bypassed. My question is can I bypass these hoses without cutting them? The new one goes to some sort of quick release clips. I don't want to mess them up if it's avoidable so I can just purchase one for a 2001 and put it in when I'm ready.
