i just did mine , '89 LX. not having done it before took close to 4 hours with a good bit of wasted time fixing little stuff that the previous guy had screwed up (wires EVERYWHERE)
I mean, you can pretty much see the heater box right when you pull the glove box open all the way, so wouldn't one (in theory) be able to just cut around that opening and slide 'er on back...? (Please, nobody scream at me for "mutilating" a Fox, because honestly, is it worth the bother on a 270k-mile car?
)



So, uhhhh ... any crafty ways of maybe being able to get the heater core out simply open the glove box and get, ummm, a little "desperate" with a Dremel tool, slipping the new one in, and duct-taping 'er shut, by chance?I mean, you can pretty much see the heater box right when you pull the glove box open all the way, so wouldn't one (in theory) be able to just cut around that opening and slide 'er on back...?
