Hey I was wondering if my heater core is going bad, when I turn on my heater I smell antifreeze but my passanger side floor board does not get wet. Do you think that its still the core?

thanks

It could be in the process of failing. Does it leave any spots under the car, near where the evaporator would drip if you used the AC? That's usually a symptom of an imminent failure of the heater core.

If you wait too long your floor will start to get wet, had this happen to me. Better to replace that heater core now, too bad this stuff always happens in the winter.
