all right.. I kind of got the car running okay now.. but the damn thing is overheating now.. AGGGhhh... one thing after another!! so I checked the T-Stat. cooked it it water and watched it open (192 DEG) Pressure checked.. held 16lbs.. no water in oil.. what the frick.. one more thing.. on the two hoses coming from the heater core.. to which hard line to they go to? looking at the firewall I have the left (pass Side) going to the top hard line and the Drivers side hose going to the bottom? all that I can think to check.. just replaced the headgaskets about 2 months ago.. car was running fine until I replaced the intake manifold gaskets!!!

I need to know this as well. Apparently my heater core blew after re-hookup of the hoses from a new install and it blew almost instantly. Don't know if the restrictor got placed on the return side or if it was just the heater core's time......................

i want to say yes because thats ultimately the line that stems from the water pump, so thats the one probably under pressure.
