My 69 is missing the Heater Controls in the Dash, it was originally a a/c car. Will non a/c controls plug right in or should I get the controls for a a/c car? Also I have no plans on running a/c in the car and it seems the firewalls are set up different between the two cars, what has everyone do to remove the evaporator and cover up the area on the firewall where the evaporator lines come through?

If you still have the AC in the dash, you'll need the matching control. Your long-term plan should be for making the the AC work, anyway.
