Heating Drag radials at the track....

When heating them up do you go around the water box or through it?

Get em wet. It all depends on the brand on how to heat em.

that would also depend on what tires your running up front.
If your running anything other than skinnies, drive around the water and back into it so your front tires dont carry a bunch of water on the track.

Nahhh, I have normal size fronts and drive rite through that bastige.

I drive through them with my car, but most tracks I'm at are pretty liberal with the water. Of the dozen or so runs I've done since buying my Mickey Thompson E/T Street Radials, only once has it broken loose on me and that’s because I didn't heat them very well. That being said, it's not mandatory to burn them off when warming them up either. Just spin them till you start seeing smoke bellowing out of the rear fender wells and you're golden.

at what air pressure do you guys run. i got a set of m/t radials and i found that about 15-18 was the best with my setup anyhow. i was just wandering if lower or higher psi was beter for them

I back into it, and even did so most of the time with the skinnys.
